AI Citation Readiness Checker

Review how clearly one page answers questions, supports its claims and identifies who is behind it, with the sections that look most extractable and the ones to improve.

Citation readiness is not the same as being cited

No tool can predict whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity will cite a page. Those systems choose sources in their own ways, and it changes. What you can control is how clearly your content answers questions, backs up claims and says who is behind it. This checker looks at those observable qualities.

What it looks for

  • Direct answers: a descriptive H1, concise opening paragraphs under headings, definitions, lists and tables.
  • Evidence: named authors, dates, links to sources, a references section and statistics with a source nearby.
  • Entity context: the business, topic and location named clearly, with Organisation or Person schema.
  • Technical clarity: canonical, indexability, structured data, heading order and semantic HTML.

Candidate answer blocks

The tool highlights sections that combine a clear heading with a short, direct opening. It also flags answers buried in long preambles, vague headings and statistics without a source. Longer narrative content is not penalised just for being long. To tidy the heading tree first, try the Heading Structure Checker.
