The days of trying to find the perfect Instagram post schedulers are over. On the 8th of November 2022, Instagram revealed that they will be rolling out free content scheduling tools in the Instagram app. This is currently available for professional Instagram accounts and can allow you to schedule Reels, Photos, and Carousel posts for up to 75 days directly from Instagram.
You can greatly benefit from this new feature if you’re a content creator or business owner. Scheduling a few posts at once can help you to build a content strategy, allowing you to improve consistency. Manually uploading each post takes time, time that can be better spent creating high-quality content your followers will love.
Step-by-step guide on how to schedule your posts using the Instagram app
Follow the process you normally would undertake to post on Instagram by selecting your photo and pressing next, then follow these instructions step-by-step to schedule your next post!
- Click Advanced Settings located at the bottom of the page
- Tap Schedule this post
- Select the date and time you would like to schedule the post– The time zone is based on your device’s settings
- Press set time and exit out of Advanced Settings
- Hit schedule in the top right-hand corner and you have officially scheduled your first Instagram post through the app!
